Rhinoplasty
What is rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty, also known as nose surgery, is a surgical procedure that aims to improve the shape of the nose and its harmony with the rest of the facial features. This may include changing the size, shape, or angle of the nose, or correcting some functional problems such as difficulty breathing.

Surgical rhinoplasty: In which surgical incisions are made to modify the bones and cartilage of the nose.
Non-surgical rhinoplasty: Fillers or Botox are used to slightly modify the shape of the nose without surgery.
Preparing for rhinoplasty:

Medical examinations: Some examinations and tests may be required before the operation.
Stopping some medications: You may need to stop taking some medications before the operation, such as aspirin.
How is rhinoplasty performed?
Anesthesia: The operation is usually performed under general anesthesia.
Surgical incisions: Incisions are made inside the nose or in a small area between the nostrils.
Nose modification: The surgeon adjusts the bones and cartilage of the nose to achieve the desired shape.
Closing the incisions: The incisions are closed using surgical threads or staples.
Recovery period after rhinoplasty:
Swelling and bruising: It is normal to have some swelling and bruising around the eyes and nose after the operation.
Splint: A splint may be placed on the nose to protect and support it during the recovery period.
Rest: You should get enough rest and avoid strenuous activities during the recovery period.

Adhere to the doctor's instructions: You should follow the doctor's instructions carefully regarding wound care and taking medications.
Avoid exposure to the sun: You should avoid direct exposure to sunlight for a period after the operation.
